Popover Pinnyfore Dressmaking Workshop
with Allison
Date: Saturday 7th March
Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Location: Patchwork Dreamer Studio, Bodmin
Tutor: Allison
Skill level: Beginner friendly
Group size: Maximum 6 participants
About the Workshop
Come and enjoy a relaxed and creative day making a Popover Pinnyfore – a wonderfully versatile garment that can be worn in two ways. Leave the sides open and wear it as a traditional pinny, or close them for a classic pinafore style that simply pops over your head.
This is a beginner-friendly dressmaking workshop, ideal if you’re new to garment sewing or would like to build confidence working with woven fabrics. Allison will guide you step-by-step through cutting your fabric and constructing your pinnyfore, with plenty of individual support throughout the day.
The finished garment is comfortable, practical, and perfect for everyday wear – whether layered over a top in cooler months or worn on its own in warmer weather.
What’s Included
Expert tuition from Allison throughout the day
Use of the Popover Pinnyfore pattern (included for all attendees)
Pre-prepared pattern pieces provided on the day (no need to trace from the brochure)
