Description
Beginning to Use Beads in Tatting
Add an extra touch of elegance to your tatting with this gentle, supportive workshop designed to help you begin using beads in your work.
During this class, you will learn:
How to plan bead placement in a pattern
When to load beads onto the bobbin, the shuttle, or keep them loose
How to work beads neatly into rings and chains
How beaded tatting behaves differently from plain tatting
Tips for choosing bead sizes and colours that complement your cotton
We will make a pair of pretty beaded earrings together, and if there is time, you’ll also start a small decorative beaded motif.
