Important Information for Printing Your PDF Patterns

To ensure your finished blocks are perfectly sized, please follow these essential printing tips:

Printing from a phone: Printing PDFs from your phone rarely works at the correct scale.

Scale settings: Set your printer to 100% scale. You might see options such as “No Scaling”, “Actual Size” or “None” instead. This is crucial for accurate sizing.

Paper size: Ensure your printer’s paper size is set to A4.

Printer variations: Every printer model is slightly different. If you encounter any sizing issues, consult your printer’s manual or perform a quick Google search for your specific model. This will usually resolve common printing discrepancies quickly.

There is a kit available for the quilt front, however if you wish to use your own fabrics you will need:-

Requirements

18cms of fabric to embroider on.

3 eight metre skeins of embroidery thread.

Needle, Select an embroidery needle that feels comfortable for you. If you’re using quilting weight fabric, opt for a needle that isn’t too large to ensure it glides through easily.

Two different fabrics 12cms long by the width of the bolt.

Hoop If you typically use a hoop for your embroidery.

Mechanical pencil or Heat erasable pen.

Light box or sunny window.

Wadding and Backing fabric (50cms x 70cms)

Binding fabric I used five inches off the bolt with my binding cut at 2.5 inches and folded.
