Join our hands-on dressmaking class over three Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This class is perfect for anyone looking to learn new techniques, refine their skills, or take on a personal project. With Alison, an expert in garment construction and fitting, you’ll gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience to help bring your sewing dreams to life.

A Little About Your Tutor, Alison: Alison’s sewing journey began at age 7, and her passion for the craft has only grown since. A qualified expert with multiple credentials from Waltham Forest College (City & Guilds Level 2, Tech National Level 3, HND Level 4, and a Diploma Level 5), Alison has spent 9 years teaching garment construction, pattern cutting, and art & design. She’s worked as a sample garment technician for renowned brands like Betty Jackson, Andrea Galer, and Amilia Wicksteed, and her costume designs have appeared in hit films and TV shows including Star Wars, Cinderella, Poirot, and Miss Austen Regrets.

Class Details:

• Dates: 3 Sundays, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM 18th May 2025, 25th May 2025 and 1st June 2025

• Location: Patchwork Dreamer Bodmin

• Price: £160 for all three dates (Pay with PayPal and utilise the pay over three months option)

• Break: A half-hour lunch break is included each day please bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be supplied.

• What to Bring: Students will need to bring their own fabric and patterns. Before the class, please send Mary @ Patchwork Dreamer a photo of your pattern so she can prepare any techniques you may need to master in order to complete your project. Sewing equipment with a manual for your sewing machine.
