A little about Your tutor
I started sewing at the age of 7, thanks to my mum, and I’ve been passionate about it ever since. Originally, I wanted to create clothing for people with physical disabilities, but my journey led me into the world of fashion, film, and TV instead.

I studied at Waltham Forest College, where I completed various qualifications: City & Guilds Level 2, Tech National Level 3, HND Level 4, and a Diploma Level 5 (with QTLS status). I then spent 9 years teaching in further education, where I specialized in garment construction, pattern cutting, and art & design.

Alongside teaching, I worked as a sample garment technician for a number of renowned designers and brands, including Andrea Galer, Betty Jackson, Edina Ronay, Pascal Smets, Flyte Ostell, Amilia Wicksteed, Vielma, Bella Freud, Maria Grachvogel, Bibilux, and many more.

I’ve also had the opportunity to create costumes for numerous film and TV productions, such as Miss Austen Regrets, Persuasion, The Way We Live Now, Cinderella, Poirot, Hitchcock, The Politician’s Wife, Star Wars, and many others.

It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that have shaped my career.
