Join Ellen for a friendly beginner-friendly crochet class and learn how to make traditional granny squares.

Granny squares are one of the best-known crochet techniques and are a lovely place to start if you are new to crochet. Once you understand the basic stitches and how the square is built, you can use them for all sorts of projects, including blankets, cushions, bags, scarves and more.

During the class, Ellen will guide you step by step through the process of making a classic granny square. You will learn how to work the stitches, create the corners and build up the square with confidence.

This class is suitable for beginners, so you do not need lots of previous crochet experience. It is also a good choice if you have tried crochet before but would like a little extra help getting going.

A ball of yarn and a crochet hook will be supplied, so you can simply come along and enjoy learning something new.

The class will be held in the upstairs studio at Patchwork Dreamer in a relaxed and supportive setting.
