Description
Suffolk Puff Jingle Trees Class
Create a beautiful fabric Christmas tree decoration using traditional Suffolk puffs, layered together with buttons, beads and a tiny gold star.
These charming little trees are a lovely way to use up fabric scraps and make something festive for your own Christmas tree, or as a handmade gift. During the class I’ll guide you through making the Suffolk puffs, adding the buttonhole centres and assembling your tree so that everything sits neatly together.
You can choose your own fabrics, so your tree can be traditional, rustic, bright, modern or completely coordinated with your Christmas decorations.
What you will need to bring
Please bring:
- Fabric scraps — the largest piece needs to be approximately 5″ square and the smallest approximately 3″ square
- Wadding scraps
- Five buttons in total
- Please bring your button box if you have one, as only the top button will be visible
- Buttons must have two or four holes
- Please do not bring shank buttons
