This class is perfect for total beginners and sewing enthusiasts who are passionate about being eco-friendly and want to be more sustainable and enhance their sewing skills.

On this day workshop you will learn:-

Understand the principles of Zero Waste Design.

Learn to create a zero waste pattern for a kimono.

Practise precise cutting methods to minimise fabric waste

Adding finishing touches to personalise your kimono robe

You will need to bring

A pen/pencil

Thread to match your fabric

Fabric scissors

Pattern cutting ruler

Sewing machine

Fabric, this can be a sheet to get this first Kimono right, if not a sheet fabric needs to be no narrower than 54″ wider is better (quilting fabric is not wide enough) and you will need 2 metres
