our skill building course. Designed for sewing enthusiasts you will explore
various threads and needle settings used in creative seam finishes.

A skills focused one day class where participants learn techniques gathering, flatlock, blind hem, lettuce hem then make a half scale T pattern included and and some fabric to make initial technical samples

On this day workshop you will learn:-

In depth exploration of the overlocker’s components
Understanding thread tensions
Exploring various overlocker stitches, including overlocker rolled hem, flatlock
and more.
Adjusting thread tensions for optimal results
Construction of a half scale t-shirt incorporating multiple advanced techniques

You will need to bring:
Pen/pencil

Sewing kit
overlocker machine and instructions

fabric scissors
